The ADEM elections are right around the corner in 2021!
Every 2 years, 14 representatives are elected for each district in CA. This year, for the first time ever, the election will be fully VOTE BY MAIL due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To get a ballot and vote, you need to register by January 11th, 2021 at http://www.ademelections.com. You must be a Democrat. Registering is fast and simple.
After you register at http://www.ademelections.com, you’ll get a ballot in the mail. The ballot will include postage paid by the CA Democratic Party so you can complete and mail it back at no cost to you. If you are a Democrat who lives anywhere in the state of California, register to vote for delegates in your local district.
Registering to vote in this critical hyper-local election is important and will enhance your say in the direction of the party over the years to come. Assembly District Delegates are CA Democratic Party representatives who influence the direction of the CA Democratic Party, voting on things like local candidate endorsements, party leadership, and the overall platform for the party. Delegates also do Democratic party outreach to the public, and engage in community advocacy in their neighborhoods.
It takes less than 2 minutes to register, register to vote today!
If you are a member of the club in good standing prior to November 3, 2020 and are running for a delegate seat in either AD51 or AD53, email us your headshot and a brief statement to be featured on NEDC social media, email, and our website. Deadline is December 31st, 2020. The address is neladems @ gmail dot com .
